This is the weekend of a local Downtown Fair. I'm looking forward to taking the girls! My youngest daughter may still be too young to appreciate the full carnival experience, but I think she'll really enjoy watching her sister have fun! My eldest daughter is growing so fast! She'll be in 1st grade in just a couple of months! In the meantime, I'm enjoying Summer with her and I think her baby sister really appreciates having big sis to follow around and pester, heehee! I expect there will be fighting in the not-so-distant future. Lots of "LEAVE ME ALONE!" and "GO AWAY" when the baby tries to copy everything her sister does WHILE she is doing it.
Thus is the burden of the elder sibling.
Though, sometimes, it's tempting to try and follow in my brother's footsteps. He's single, house-sitting a mansion right now on several acres, and not only living rent-free but making MONEY while doing it. What a lucky break, huh? I figure it's karma coming around for him after a very messy divorce.
Funny how my own kids make me reflect on my childhood. You can never go back, but you can kind of re-live it again.
Well! Back to work for me.

DAISY GETS A BROTHER
The book is available for pre-order currently and releases February 1st. Thank you to everyone who supported me through the illustration process and to the author Fred who approached me with such enthusiasm for the project! This book memorializes his dog Daisy who passed last year and also celebrates their adoption of Daisy's younger brother Cody. The illustrations are cute and lively. I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed creating it and collaborating w

So, the end of 2018 was fantastic for me. I got to strike another item off my bucket list and I illustrated a children's book. I'll be sure to post more info about that when it's available for sale, but it was a cute pet adoption story involving beagles. It was an absolute pleasure to illustrate!
I'm changing gears this year and backing off the comic a bit. I'm really going to try and retool things so I can sell physical copies at comic conventions, though the comic
