Naruto Memorial Project (entries!)Woo-hoo~ The ball's rolling now on the project! We have over fifty reservations -- meaning over fifty artists have confirmed they wish to participate in the project! We're already receiving entries too! This doesn't mean you others have to rush. The official deadline for the project is November 1st (Dia de los Muertos-- The Day of the Dead). Needless to say, you may begin immediately upon having your character assignments. The randomizer will be closed next week, so if you haven't been assigned a character and still wish to participate, please do so immediately.
I'm really happy with the quality of the pictures thusfar and especially with all the enthusiasm and support that's been fueled into this project. You guys really make this worthwhile and I think each and every one of you.

Jesus,I'm still mourning over Spike's (Cowboy Bebop) sudden death.
The one he loves died too...that eppi sucks.
Spike's death was hard. I couldn't even listen to the song 'Blue' that plays in that scene for almost a full six months without crying.
But no, Naruto doesn't die ^^ He's the title character! They'd have to change the name of the series if he bit it ^_-

I've yet to see Bebop (only saw the movie), but I didn't know it turned so sad. Does Faye survive? 0__0 *likes her lots*

But yeah, he dies. And frankly, as I've thought about it, it's the only way it could truly be a satisfying ending. There very much a feeling of completeness to Spike's story, even if it is sad. So, he has a very meaningful and touching death.
Faye remains alive, as does Jet, Ein, and Ed, though ^^ But then, the story wasn't so much about them as they were swept up in Spike's story and then left whirling in his passing.
Bebop is an intensely beautiful series.

It's only presumed that Neji and Chouji are dead. There's never been a funeral for them, but by the look of things, there's a real finality to their stories. As such, people don't argue too much if they're in the Memorial Project ^^
I'll be pleasantly surprised if it turns out neither are dead. Chouji's super cool and Neji was really redeeming himself.
