Mako, Uncle Iroh's voice actor from Avatar: the Last Airbender died.
That's the first news I heard when I woke up. I'll miss the guy and granted, I never knew him, but he seemed the very embodiment of Iroh-- like the character was made for him. I don't think the series will be quite the same without him. I wonder if they've recorded all of his lines already.
If you don't recognize him in Avatar, you may know him as the voice of Aku in Samurai Jack or even Akiro (the wizard) from Conan. He's done several narrating jobs as well as having roles in damn near anything. Recently, he was cast to be Splinter in the next TNMT movie! The man was very accomplished, and probably somewhat typecast, but, you know? He made thing memorable.
RIP Mako. You lead a busy life.
