Ninja Monkey Comic, Ch. 3, page 3

[EDIT] Some thoughts on this page: I can't imagine how a mother must feel losing a child before surrendering them to marriage. A neighbor recently lost her grand-daughter and I knew the girl before she had graduated high school. She was only 28 and hadn't married yet, but since the birth of my second child, she's been trying to overcome a very aggressive cancer. She finally lost the fight two weeks back. I know it was devastating for her mother, but her grandmother, who is going through her own trials of having a partner on the decline due to dementia, had to go to her grand-daughter's funeral. She said she felt kind of numb with all that was going on. I can only imagine! Her grand-daughter had such a future in the humanities. I just hope her story serves as an inspiration to others.
