Okay, finally. Here we go. I hate this thing, but it's as close to the original concept as I can make it. I only hate it for the frustration it's given me. I think it's actually pretty close to what I've envisioned.

Anyway, this is my piece for the Naruto Memorial Project. For those unfamiliar with the character Yashamaru is Gaara's uncle. Yes, he looks like a woman. I've heard that time and again ^^ People even think he's a woman until they realize Gaara calls him 'uncle'.

I don't really want to give away any spoilers to those who haven't seen this far, but those who've seen it, should understand the imagery. I hope I pulled it off clearly enough. The reason it's all yellow-ish is I wanted it 1. to match the sand and 2. give it that old photograph (old memories) feel to it all.

People have told me they like the sand effect, but I still think it looks like a mess of dirty smudges Give me time, I think I'll become friends with it. So yeah, thanks everyone that's participated in the Naruto Memorial Project and those who have faithfully watched it. I hope you enjoy and continue to enjoy the fruits of all the artist's labor! It was an honor to organize it all! Especially with all the enthusiasm I've received for it!
