Final Fantasy 9 -- Oo, soft

Inspiration pops up in weird places. I was watching a mourning dove cross a neighbor’s yard and the color of it reminded me of Zidane’s gloves. Initially, this had a funnier/more awkward concept, but as I drew it, the rainy day made for a melancholy mood.

Or maybe it was just an excuse to draw Garnet in her dress? I don’t think I ever have before! Some FF9 fan I am.

For all the sneaky grope makes me giggle, I think she was in a fine position to plant a sensible heel right in the tramp’s face. ♥
