Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers gets so little fanlove! This is my contribution to the fandom. If you haven't played the game yet, do so! It's on the Wii and I will warn you, the play control is obnoxious and the camera can sometimes be a real pain, but the system is forgiving enough that it's not a huge problem. The characters, world, story, and cinematic directions more than make up for it! It's unfortunate that the voice direction is a little lame sometimes, but all told, for a Wii game, I really got my money's worth.

I loved Crystal Bearers! I even bought the musical soundtrack, which was downright amazing! It had a little bit of everything and I loved the remixes of the original FFCC music.
You're right, though, about the controls and camera. I wish the main character was Keiss rather than Layle. Keiss was so much more interesting!

But you're right! It would have been a very different and very interesting game. The Crystal Bearers really would have seemed like menaces then.

Not that Layle didn't try his best to reinforce that.
