I'm not sure whether to categorize Narutoverse OCs under fanart or anime. o_o? Anyway, this is Kaito, an original character from the Naruto universe created and played by a friend of mine on Damn Ninja MUX. Kaito is a Jounin from Mist who rather enjoys his vices. He's a bit wobbly and lazy, but for a ninja, he's a decent sort.
Here, he looks like an absolute neanderthal. I was hoping to get that 'morning zombie' look I've seen on other people when they wake with a hangover. The quote and pose were the basis for the commission. I think he intended originally to have this as a t-shirt design, thus I tried to make it as self-contained as I could. I think his final design deviated a bit from my original concepts, though that may lie mostly in the mood I was trying to convey. Anyway, additional concepts can be found on in this LJ entry.
