Commission -- Amarillith

As another commission project for ~SolarinStudio, here is Amarillith, the drow.

I don't think I draw drow often enough, and I wondered why as I did this art! They're so fun and full of eeeeevil. I suppose it's the stigma of he drow fandom wank (and believe me for those outside the D&D following, there is quite a bit of wank surrounding dark elveses). From an asthetic aspect, though, they're beautiful to work with. The dark skin can be a variety of hues an shades. The light hair is a great contrast and again, can vary in hue. It can be said for many other characters, but there are so many ways to distinguish individual drow that they're just fun! And there's no mistaking with the skin and hair just what they are.

One character note that really tickled me about Amarillith is when one of her Drow manslaves escaped and happened to fall for a surface elf, Amarillith here made a field trip to the surface to not only take back her slave, but his lover as well. Now, both of them hang on display in her study with a "seat of honr" for their daughter. Aww, how adorably wicked!
